Raspberry Custard Trifle Parfait
Enjoy the tasty layers of this Raspberry Custard Trifle Parfait that doesn't need to be baked. When you mix sweet ladyfingers with tangy raspberry jam, fresh raspberries, creamy custard, and rich whipped cream, you get a divine dessert that's great for any event.
Ingredients:
- 1 package ladyfinger cookies
- 1 cup raspberry jam
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 2 cups custard store-bought or homemade
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Place ladyfinger cookies in a trifle bowl so that they cover the bottom
Put some raspberry jam on top of the cookies
Put some fresh raspberries on top of the jam
Add more custard on top of the raspberries
Add more layers until the bowl is almost full
Add a layer of whipped cream on top to finish
Add fresh mint leaves and sliced almonds that have been toasted as a garnish
Put it in the fridge for at least two hours to let the flavors mix
