Philly Cheeseburger Gnocchi Bake



A delicious twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, this gnocchi bake combines the flavors of a cheeseburger with the comfort of gnocchi pasta. It's a quick and easy one-pan dish that's perfect for a satisfying weeknight dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 16 oz potato gnocchi
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms optional
  • Sliced jalapeos optional, for spice
  • Sliced pickles optional, for garnish
  • Chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375F 190C

In a large ovenproof skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and crumbled

Drain any excess fat

Add chopped onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet

Saut until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes

Stir in salt, black pepper, paprika, dried oregano, and dried basil

Cook for another 2 minutes

Pour in beef broth and marinara sauce

Bring to a simmer

Add potato gnocchi to the skillet and stir to combine

Let it cook for 2-3 minutes

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella, cheddar, and grated Parmesan cheese over the top

If desired, add sliced mushrooms and jalapeos for extra flavor and spice

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown

Garnish with sliced pickles and chopped fresh parsley, if you like
